I just want to mention how much I love this kind of casual touching between friends. I know a lot of men and women who hesitate to engage in it where people can see for various reasons (among men, it seems like the most commonly stated one is they don’t want people to think they’re gay), and it’s honestly really heartening to see a group of people who are so close to each other that they’re comfortable engaging in contact.  I love that.  I think its wonderful, and I wish more male celebrities were willing to express their friendship physically if only because I have the sneaking suspicion that the more male celebrities are willing to show affection, the less people will mock them for being “unmanly” and getting rid of the “affection makes you unmanly” notion so much of society currently has is great.

Also it is obnoxiously cute how Misha turns around, realizes a moose and not a human being has appeared behind him and has to look up.

I hate the word homophobia.

It is not a phobia.

You are not scared.

You are just an asshole.

what if someone had an actual phobia though

like with people who are arachnaphobic

a gay person comes into their house and they stand on a chair screaming and swatting them with a broom or something

#or they get a really huge glass to put over the gay person #and then slide a big piece of paper underneath and put them outside

How to refer to people with different genders

tarblood:

                          Girl     /         Boy     /         ???

English:               she/   he       /  them (hir [unofficial])

Swedish:
hon    /        han    /     hen  [is this official?]

Finnish:                hän    /        hän    /          hän

Welcome to Finland, folks who hate gender pronouns. We treat you all with same word. Hän.

Why are so many languages so hard with all those gender stuffs?? We can even call people “it” in Finnish and it’s okay.

[smell the fact that I’m annoyed. If I did mistakes, well please correct me okay?]

Imagine a film such as Inception with an entire cast of black people – do you think it would be successful? Would people watch it? But no one questions the fact that everyone’s white. That’s what we have to change.

Idris Elba (via lavender-labia)

Same if the entire cast were female.

Racism and sexism hasn’t gone anywhere people…

Argentina JUST PASSED a groundbreaking gender identity bill!!!
From now on, people will be able to change the name and gender on their ID without needing psychiatric permission or any body modifications. Furthermore, anyone who does want hormones or surgery will be able to access them for free through the public and private health system.
It was passed unanimously today by the Senate :-D

Muslim women who choose to wear the Hijab but are also Athletes of the fiercest kind.

Hijab is not a disability.

This photoset is awesome. These women are HBICs.

That first one is great.  It looks like she’s stopping that soccer ball mid-air with the power of her awesomeness alone.
